No. 2 Amendment – Amending Meeting Date at which Vice-Mayor is annually elected
Shall Section 3.05 of the City of Seminole Charter be amended by setting the annual meeting date at which the Vice-Mayor must be elected as the second business meeting in November each year?

This amendment is intended to eliminate an inconsistency in the current Charter, which states in one section that the Vice Mayor shall be elected “during the second business meeting in November,” and in another section that the Vice Mayor “shall be elected at the next regular council meeting following the election.” If passed, this amendment would establish the election date of the Vice-Mayor as the second business meeting in November.
