Pinellas County School Board District 1 - At Large Runoff
The Pinellas County School Board is responsible for the administration of the county’s schools in accordance with state law and the rules put forth by the State Board of Education. The Board adopts policies that give the district direction to set priorities and achieve its goals. The Board also adopts and oversees the annual budget, hires and evaluates the superintendent, and manages the collective bargaining process for employees of the district. The Board consists of seven members: three who are elected at-large which means they are voted on by all county residents, and four who are elected by the registered voters within each single-member district.
