Treasure Island Commissioner District 4
The city of Treasure Island operates under a Council-Manager form of government. Under this form of government, the Commission provides legislative direction while the City Manager is responsible for day-to-day administrative operations of the city. The Treasure Island City Commission consists of the Mayor and four Commissioners. Commissioners qualify to run in one of the four districts in Treasure Island, and are then elected by voters who live within their respective districts. The commission is responsible for the adoption of the annual budget, the appropriation of funds, and the passage of ordinances and resolutions necessary for the responsible administration of the City. Treasure Island District 4 covers Sunset Beach, and Gulf Boulevard northward to 112th Avenue.
